Too, I have used a lot of printers through the years.

Currently, I’m using CANON PIXMA iP110 Wireless Mobile Printer. I think a good home printer works beautifully for your planner.

In addition, do not use cardstock because your planner will be too thick. I use regular all-purpose paper like this Hammermill Printer Paper.

I am love, love, loving the fact that I have decided to spread my curriculum pages for planner printables throughout the year.  When the mood hits me and it hits often, I have to create and make my homeschool planner printables.

Sharing the new printables with you too is one of my favorite things to do because I hope you get as excited as I do.

Because my 7 Step DIY Homeschool Planner has been the product of many, many years to refine the core of it, I feel like now I can add those refining touches as it grows larger with more options. 

From the beginning, I never wanted one curriculum planner with all the same pages to share with you knowing that everybody else has the same download.

I love options from year to year and I will continue to add them as I plod along.

CURRICULUM PAGES FOR PLANNER

Today, I have the first printable for an inside title page.  It is one of those refinements or new sections.

I have switched over the years to keeper covers for the homeschool planner which means there are no more dated planner covers. 

This allows you more choices to choose from each  year.

With that switch though, I know some of you have wanted some place to put the school year and maybe a few notes near the front of your planner. 

Some of the homeschool planner covers allows you to edit and fill in the school year and some don’t.

Also, because you may want something between your front cover and where your papers actually start, I have created the first inside title page for this new section of the planner. 

I haven’t decided where to place this new section of pages, but I will let you know shortly after I find an organized spot on my blog. 

Probably, I will keep them on the same page as the front covers and back covers.  It kind of makes sense to keep them there.

7 STEP DIY HOMESCHOOL PLANNER

The inside title page has a page for you to fill in the current school year and a place for your name.

You can use the lines below that to add other personal information or emergency contact information and/or to add some of your favorite quotes for the year.

  I kind of left it generic meaning you may prefer to add other items and I didn’t want to hem you in to what I thought needed to go there.

And like all my forms, the inside title page will eventually have many font choices and colors and here is my first form.

Hope you like it.  I can’t wait to create my planner for next year, but by starting early now and adding the new forms, we will have plenty to select from.

Today, I have the printable 2025 two page monthly calendar. Grab other gorgeous planning pages on my Homeschool Planner page.

The two-page spread today is for keeping appointments for any of your family’s needs whether it’s personal or homeschool.

Also, this calendar can be used in other planners.

For example, my home management binder, student planner, blogging planner, financial planner, or fitness planner.

You get a full 12 months, and the calendar begins January, 2025 and goes through December, 2025.

5 Benefits of a Two Page Monthly Calendar

  1. With more space for each day, you can include all homeschool activities and family appointments.
  2. This type of calendar gives you a clear overview at a glance of what is planned.
  3. This calendar can be placed anywhere in your planner so you customize where you prefer to jot down dates. I prefer mine right in the front, but some homeschool educators prefer to add it to a middle section.
  4. Another reason I love a printed calendar for the year is it helps me to maintain focus. Getting appointments down with pen on paper gives you a structured but not rigid framework.

Because I create 3 different types of calendars each year, here are the differences in each type of calendar.

1.The Appointment Keeper Calendar

The appointment keeper calendar is the one I have today.

It is your main calendar. ALL appointments are penned on this calendar.

Whether field trip, family time or personal time, you want to jot them all down on this calendar which has ample room for appointments.

2. Planning Your Schedule Calendar

This calendar is NOT for planning. (wink) I have the planning your schedule calendars for that.

They are kept on Step 5a. Choose Unique forms JUST for You!

3. Regular Calendar On One Page

And I also have a 1 page per year calendar which is a quick view or glance, and they can be found on STEP 2. Choose Calendar/Appointment Keepers.

Whether I prepare academic or physical year calendars I always prepare 12 months in this download.

Additionally, because the calendar begins in January and ends in December, this allows you to begin your school at any time.

Also, whether you homeschool year-round or not, you have a full set of pages.

In addition, because all my premade planners are mix and match my calendars pair beautifully with all my planners.

You must have objectives otherwise where would you head?

This is where you put your plan which are your goals to accomplish for the year.

Too, I normally place the objectives close to the front of my planner.

By putting the objectives closer to the front, I find it is easier to review them from time to time and at the end of the year.

In addition, I break my objectives down by topic.

This helps me to identify any areas that I need to address immediately.

Also, when you create goals, you want forms both short term and long term goals.

Sometimes, I have broad goals and not something that fits into exact educational objectives. 

I just like having the options each year. 

Too, sometimes I know, for me anyway, I tend to write down all that I want to do and have few reminders of what not to do for the year. 

So the section I call “less of this” is just as important to me as I want to keep setting realistic goals each year.

Next, I have an objectives at a glance form.

This is another form for objectives in broad strokes and it is a 2 page spread where you jot down objectives by month. 

It has January to December for you to jot down general goals and view them on a 2 page spread

I have found that as my kids got older, I wanted a more general form.

And this is also good if you have an only child because you don’t need as much room to write.
