I think  we have exhausted our reading about Machu Picchu for our South America unit study.

Machu Picchu

Machu Picchu 2

There was plenty of free information online for this subject and then with a little pinch of information from our geography textbook I got this year, we had enough to cover this topic lightly.

South America Machu Picchu

We enjoyed the interactive Machu Picchu The Lost City of the Incas which I had pinned to my South America Board too.

South America Lapbook

I think we have satisfied our appetite about South America for now and have our lapbook to go with it.  Like all of my unit studies, we can visit them anytime we decide and add in more information.

I hope you enjoyed tagging along with us on this unit study. I will let you know soon what we have decided to scoot on to next.

Hugs and love ya,

Nothing to do with your blogpost. I made my 2013-2014 planner, and it is a great success. Each year is a learning experience.

For example, dividers are a must for organisation, and also for a comic reason: In two sections of the planner, the stationer got the pages out of order!! ( I reckon he dropped them and did not have the heart to let me know or did not notice) As they are still within the section, it’s not a big deal to me. I have learned from this that next year, I need to use a big paper clip to hold the sheets together within each section, just in case.

I also include articles from websites, so that I read them for inspiration when doing the ‘waiting for the children’ thing. I have learned that the planner is a good place to keep them.

One page I use a *lot* is for keeping a list of passwords and stuff like that. Could you give people a tip that they need way more of the ‘Notes’ pages than they might expect?

Have you had the graduation party for your son?
