Today, I have free printable strawberry notebooking pages. Also, you’ll love my free Strawberry Unit Study.

It may not feel like spring yet, but spring is on the way.

Free Printable Strawberry Notebooking Pages

Looking over my strawberry lapbook that we did, which seems like ages ago when my older boys were younger, I wanted to flesh it out some more if I decide to do this with Tiny.

Strawberries are the first “fruits” of spring or are they a fruit? You’ll have to read to learn about them.

Back when we did our lapbook, we also took a field trip with our group to pick strawberries.

Of course at the end of studying about strawberries, I made strawberry short cake.

It was the perfect ending to our fun, easy and quick unit study about strawberries.

Too, I have some helpful websites and free downloads that will help your child do the notebooking pages on his own.

I never knew there were so many varieties of strawberries.

Go to this page at the University of Texas Digital Library to have your child label the notebooking pages showing the many varieties of strawberries.

Then go this page at the University of Illinois Extension office to read about the history and lore of strawberries.

    Hi Tina,
Did you use a particular resource for the information? Some books are just too technical for young people.

PS: I can’t believe you moved to South America!! How wild!

When the boys were younger, I used some free on line resources and a Native American book found on my lapbook page here.
