RMS Titanic – {April 14/15, 1912}
Lapbook Layout
This unit just felt like we needed to turn the file folder sideways or horizontal to get the full length of the Titanic.
So all minibooks were created for a horizontal file folder. Here is one way we arranged the minibooks.

Here are some links/lesson plans I like:
- HUGE site that has list of passengers, survivors, deckplans, crew….lot to take in here…
- WONDERFUL coloring pages. Not baby-ish. The ship, the passengers, and life on the ship are a few of these nice coloring pages.
- Lesson plans s focus on the 2004 expedition to the RMS Titanic. Shipwrecks, biodeterioration and marine archaeology. For grades 5-12.
- Titanic Branson. Has some curriculum and a video tour.
- Pinterest Link from The Smithsonian with lots of great pics.

I so appreciate you sharing this resource! I was searching for history project ideas for my 8 year old who fell in love with the the history of the titanic. She wanted to include so much in one lap book and I didn’t know how she would fit it all in! This fit the bill and then some! THank you!
